I'm in the same boat - left sunny Aberdeen in 93 and still have my old UK licence, complete with holes where the folded corners got worn away! Expires in 2035.
I not only remember having a National Insurance number, but I also remember the number itself - just as well since I have no idea where the card is! As far as I remember it was on a small card, not unlike the Social Security card...

Aha! Now we are getting somewhere. I left in 1990 and don't remember the little number card you describe, and you left in 1993 and do remember it, obviously. So somewhere between those dates big brother took over the UK!
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

No, Im pretty sure I had that card / number for a long time before 93. I have a vague feeling that I got it when I was 18 or 16 or something like that. Pretty sure I had to use it when I had summer jobs at Uni (83-85 and 87-90 - don't ask!).
Ah, some more information here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Insurance_number[^]

OK, I vaguely remember them now. I wonder what my number is? I won't worry unless I decide to go back to Blighty someday.

Advance is Go, and AT was an early computer (the IBM AT) - plus you think DD is a goat (or a rake).

Half a Yay! I still have to thunk one up for tomorrow, must make it easy Would Gegs [9,4] [lit] be too easy?

Should be fine. You do know that I avoid answering them precisely because I don't want to have to come up with the questions don't you?

You'd have to poach that from the Dead Donkey first!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I did some search, but didn't found the connection between rake and goat...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Think this one of those cases where a few shared words in the dictionary definitions make it look like a synonym but it isn't!

Awesome virtual walk through[^]
Quote: Son Doong is one of the world's largest caves, with enormous chambers that can comfortably fit a 747 airplane or an entire New York City block full of 40-story buildings. Its mammoth chambers extend so far that explorers have called Son Doong an "infinite cave." And with an amazing new digital tour, you can plunge below ground to see it yourself without ever leaving the country.

640k RAM also ought to be sufficient.

This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

As a Swiss I find this offensive...
And btw CERN isn't located in Zurich but in Geneva. That's on the other end of the country...
