• unsigned integers as a type (Integer.fooUnsigned is kind of ugly), particular bytes.
• value types.
• operator overloading.
• generics that are actually generics. Type erasure sucks.

Integer[] arrayOfStuff = functionThatReturnsAnArray();
Iterable<Integer> iter = arrayOfStuff;
