Creationists believe the earth is around 6000 years old and that humans and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time. Science tells us the earth is around 4.5 billions years old and that humans and dinosaurs are separated by around 65 million years.

Correct. My point was that creationists believe in a literal time frame, not all religious people as the OP suggested. Creationists make up a small percentage of religious people.
