They don't make it easy to find - especially not on the Dev Essentials site, but it looks like it's Windows 8+ only[^] (at least supported, it might install on Weven)

To cloak ourselves, humanity could emit a continuous 30 megawatt laser for 10 hours, once a year, and block our transit signal. That would hide the dip in sunlight Earth makes as it passes in front of the sun from an alien’s eye view.
OK, this is stupid. From some angle, the earth is always transiting the sun. So we'd have to have the laser on continuously to block the planet's transit from (whatever the scientific term is of a line going through the center of two circles].
That quote assumes we know exactly where they are coming from!

Earth has been around for billions of years, so why haven't they stolen our so called treasures before now. The time we live in now is so insignificant compared to the planets history and/or other aliens history, that it makes this just plain stupid, stupid, stupid.

Can't you configure your browser? With Firefox, I set in
about:config
image.animation_mode=none
media.autoplay.enabled=false
and a proxy.pac script which sends many requests of ads-pages to 127.0.0.1

An app to make the period of events and calendar months (IIRC this got hard coded to show only 1 mo in 2013) shown in Outlook's ToDo bar user configurable instead of being hard coded, or even an option for 'as many calendar events as there is room for'? Not wanting the regression from up to 30 days of notice about upcoming events on my main outlook view to only 7 days worth and the resultant big chunk of empty screen is the main reason I'm still using Office 2010 despite owning a 2013 license and being able to get a 2016 one for only $10 (via an employee discount program).
