Can't beat In-n-out! I grew up dining at #2 (the one they call #1, and keep as a museum; #1 was torn down to make way for the 10 freeway). Most locations have a picture of the #2 store ( on Francisquito Blvd, in West Covina) that features a blue 1936 Ford in the drivethru. That car was my uncle Bob's, a close friend of Harry, the founder of the chain. Harry took the picture himself. It's still kinda weird to think of my uncle Bob and aunt Betty making out in that rumble seat...

Many years ago I (somewhat jokingly) invented 'Skiddies'. They would add soundproofing, smell absorption and stain guard facilities to your pants. The theme tune of the advert would have been sung to the tune of Skippy, the bush kangaroo or the Goodies (can't quite recall which).
Strangely, someone did come out with something similar recently.
