It's a tragedy and it's great that nobody was hurt but it's quite a show. The real fireworks start around 1:10.

Heard about it on the BBC News Channel, rather unimpressive footage, that is closer and you can see the bang better!

It was described on BBC news as "an anomaly on the launchpad" which I felt was a little under selling it.

Still better than the "rapid unscheduled disassembly" that somebody used a few months ago.

Not really, it is just part of rocket science development; things blow up; ideally, they blow up in a controlled way and the rocket goes up instead of everywhere.
Just to highlight the fact that safety measures are really high because of that fact.
I'd rather be phishing!

Spot on.
The expression "It ain't rocket science" doesn't exist for no good reason.

C# code can't cause this due to the automatic Gremlin-collector.
Must be some all-purpose symbolic instruction code

Please don't call it an "explosion". We prefer the term "surprise".
The "surprise" occurs at 1:10.

Who is 'we'? Just asking because I once also belonged to a team thet sent a few rockets on their way and had to deal with malfunctions (as well as saying "Sorry, my fault!" in Russian),

It's actually a joke I took from SNL.
When the reactor accident happened at Three Mile Island in 1979, SNL joked that we are not calling it an "accident", we prefer to call it a "surprise".

Since it blocks Zuckerbergs expansion, it is nowhere near a tragedy.
