All the other pages I try work OK: lounge, QA, S&A, Sugs'n'Bugs.
But the home page just never completes loading - I tried with Chrome, Firefox, Excrebable Edge, and none of them load.
Strangely, IE loads it OK ...
OK: it's not IE. Firefox loads it as well, provided I sign out (goto lounge, sign out, back to home page and it loads). Sign back in, and the homepage won't load again.

If I log in as the late, lamented Bill The Cat it loads OK - so I suspect it's a "follow system" beta test thing?

It's an issue with the follow system we're still trying to track down.
Nothing is timing out except the page itself, ie no database calls, redis calls, follow system or other webservice calls. Other pages run fine. It just runs slow and there's zero CPU utilisation which suggests to me we have lock contention. It's been a struggle to try and pinpoint it.

E-mails stopped arriving several weeks ago. My Settings show those boxes are still ticked.
I changed them in the hope the emails would restart, to no avail.

Have you tried submitting the Email Consent Form[^]? It was only supposed to affect Canadian members, but it seems to have affected some non-Canadian members too.

A long time before the page renders. All I see is what looks like a black command prompt screen with an error message - no CP access (like up/down vote, reply, etc.).
Their end or yours? Or have I just been infected?
