Hi,

Sometimes when someone upvotes my thread/comment/solution, I wish I could see who was it.

Am I the only one?
Do we have any plans on implementing this? If not, what are the reasons?

Why? What purpose could this possibly serve? If I wanted you to know I upvoted you, I would leave a message, along with a comment explaining why I upvoted. In pretty much all other cases, this extra information would be clutter and noise.

Actually I agree with you. I think it would be a fine feature.

I don't understand the people who say that they tell someone when they upvoted? Are they wanting a pat on the back or something? Are they wanting a reciprocated upvote? Sounds insecure to me.

No, that's exactly what we don't want, and the best option for that is to keep it anonime.

If I tell someone that I have upvoted, I have my reasons but wanting a vote back is definitively not one of them.
