I've inherited a Visual Basic project.  Last time I saw VB was back in the early 90s.
It took me a few minutes poking around before I figured out how to find the dang source code.

Ahhh, the 'no money for the rewrite' took me weeks, ended up doing a C# version at the weekend for my own benefit. The people in charge needed to use it, so I gave them my C# version while I was working on the VB version, the exe ran faster and was smaller I was asked why I still converting the VB...

VB.NET, or VB6?
The first is easy to translate to C#, can even be done by a machine. If it is VB6, it should simply be burned, without any questions.
