I'm supposedly signed in using my SSO Google account.
I see my member name etc.
However, I don't see functionality in the articles I'm reading like Bookmark the article.
I figured my account was half-signed in or something. So I logged out and attempted to sign in again and I saw this odd error:

It just sat there so I went back to CP and still don't seem to have functionality.
Maybe it's my browser state /cache or something: FireFox 67.0.2 (64-bit)
I'll restart browser and see.
EDIT
Nope, restarted browser, logged out of CP again and logged back in and got that error (shown above) again and still can't see bookmark to bookmark an article.
Obviously other functionality works --- like posting here, etc.

I don't run adblocker of any type explicity. Could be new functionality in FireFox since they are blocking auto-play videos. Also, I do see the CP ads at the top, bottom, etc just as I normally do.

I just learned that I do not get that Google Connect error page if I sign in from CP home page.
However, I do get it if I sign in from an article page.
Here's the URL that shows up in the page when it fails. (Hopefully there is nothing in there that will expose any of my info.)

I'm not able to recreate this issue. However, Google did have some issues last week, and that may have caused the problem.
Could you try again and let me know if you are still having problems?

I tried it a few times with no problems.
Seems like login is working fine now. I saw some odd behavior related to Google login last week too so that probably was the issue there. Thanks for your help.

It's been a few days since I last received the CP daily news newsletter email. I have made sure my subscription is still active, and saw no issues with spam filters on my email account. Yet, no luck so far...

The newsletter is definitely active! I've checked your account and all is good our end. Have you added us to your whitelist? Have you checked spam folders? (just re-read and saw you'd checked these).
Not sure what to suggest here given there's a lot of variables at play when sending and receiving emails. Anything from being blocked at an organisation level, to spam blockers nuking instead of moving to spam folders, to the network gnomes just not playing fair.

Editing a question to provide translation from Spanish, I tried to save it but it complained that the (unedited) title needed to be between 20 and 200 characters. It was 18.
I thought of just adding an ellipsis "..." at the end, but tried two spaces - and it was accepted without problems.
I suspect Trim needs to be called earlier.
