I'd solve their gridlock problem easily: ban any car trip of 3 miles or less with no passengers and/or baggage, and give away free bicycles.

Having worked for a good number of the world's larger corporations, I can confirm that this level of utter stupidity committed by idiots (who either believe or want to make others believe that they're doing a fantastic job) is perfectly normal.

I wrote my first post here and it was to complement the Daily News copy, and this "thick and thin" line was the impetus. ("Message closed"...prob not real relevant to anyone, me loving the Insider subheaders)
