o most people 'next Saturday' means 'Saturday of next week', 9 days away, not 'the next Saturday' which would be 'day after tomorrow'.
Not for me.. if I want to have the 9 days gap I say "Saturday of next week" because "next saturday" is the first one that comes from now on, that is the day after tomorrow.

The conventional usage here is that 'every tenth' means 'the first and every tenth following'.
And this "language" or "people" aspect was exactly what I wanted to know.

Most of the answers here were against the "conventional usage" though.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
