I had the same thing happen to me on my desktop machine.

Instead of doing what the prompts wanted me to do, I switched to Task Manager and just closed the offending process.

Heh heh, I'll bet they didn't expect me to do that! Laugh | :laugh:

I had no keyboard (tablet); and no task / tool bar; just some truncated text on a full-screen / background something. Only the power button worked. No other issues since I got it. Use it to test my UWP apps for adaptability. (Irony)
