I'm updating one of my old articles using the Article Submission Wizard. I've uploaded new downloads and updated the links in the article. But when I go to preview mode and test the downloads, for all of them I get "No download file was specified".
I've looked at the HTML source in the editor, and it does look reasonable.
The current (old) article is "The Spiral TrackBar Control" (https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/719643/The-Spiral-TrackBar-Control-2).
Any suggestions?

To my knowledge, I don't believe you can download files from a preview. I think the article must be published.

Hello,
i just develop a antivirus in vb.net, and i'm getting the error below. The application needs to scan files in the given path, and i'm being denied access.
Can you explain what could be causing the error? 
could it be code bug?

And the answer is that your application is running in an account that does not have universal access.

In my recent submission, I have marked it in composition because some of the images are not showing up in the article. The images look look fine in the editor, so I am not sure how to proceed.

I also encountered the same problem every time I post an article/tip this year. I resolved it by changing the img tag from
<img src="..." width="20" height="20" />
to
<img src="..." width="20" height="20"></img>
But sometimes the editor automatically change it back to the 1st form again.

Just a comment... All the HTML standards say that the img tag does not allow an end tag /img. Browsers are probably smart enough to ignore it.

Yes, you are right! img tag should be unclosed according to HTML img tag
<img src="..." width="20" height="20">
Maybe the article editor automatically converts it to
<img src="..." width="20" height="20" />
that confused the web browser?

Things like <img ... /> instead of <img ... > tend to be swept under the carpet by browsers. Things like online editors are probably more sensitive souls.

All three forms of img tags works for me when I view my standalone article.html on web browser. It is only when I copied and pasted the article onto the online editor that it starts to auto format my html that the images do not shown up after submission.

I don't even know if this would even find an answer that puts things back for me.
I've accidentally deleted an article of mine and have lost the article and likely a couple years of reputation points as well.
Quick Google Search didn't bring me to the right page, so I thought I'll pen down a question instead.
It is possible to restore a deleted article back (along with its Reputation history)?
Edit: I have found a draft of the deleted article. Would publishing that with some updates bring back the reputation history?

I would like to write an article from the point of view of a novice programmer
While writing I thought it might be a good idea to have the code reviewed
I can zip up the project and put it in my Github account
Zipping up the file is perhaps my first challenge
My repo has a odd folder structure to me so knowing which folder to right click to create the zip file
The folder structure is Notebook folder under that .vs folder and under that another Notebook folder
The first Notebook folder contains the Notebook.sln file
I am guessing that I should Zip every thing under the second Notebook folder
Project was written with VB using VS 2019
The project has 5 Forms and a Module File
It uses SQLite the DB and Tables are created programmatically
I wanted Spell Checking so I have incorporated a WPF TextBox for that function in the WinForms project
I have commented out the code to include the ability to use WinForms RichTextBox if the user would like an alternative method of Spell Checking
The structure of the project lends itself to managing entries like a Diary that is date oriented

Hi,
I had written an article about a C# problem statement and it was submitted on 13th Aug. Later sometime I received a mail saying it was rejected and now I am unable to find that article. WHere do I find it? Is there any link or pointers ? If it gets deleted once its rejected then pretty poor quality of managing the articles
