As other have said... there are problems all over the internet. But here we actively try to keep them at minimum and except from exceptions I am glad to say, that we (the community) manage it pretty nicely.
There are a lot of users that participate here for long, long time. I already am 14+ years here myself... that should give you a tiny hope 
There are a couple of interesting forums in the site that are worth to stay even when you are not asking for help. You already found this one (the lounge), but there are others. I.e. The Insider News[^], The Weird and The Wonderful[^] too.
If you find anything wrong with the site or have an idea, you might communicate it in Bugs and Suggestions[^]
If you think on participating in the site sharing something too, I would strongly recommend you to have a look to the codeproject FAQs[^], specially the ones about spam, plagiarism and how to use the tools that the site offers.

That's unusual - normally it's Isopropyl alcohol, not Methyl. And it's much nastier stuff. I have a spray bottle of the stuff for cleaning my 3D printer, and there is no way I'd drink that!

I also keep a bottle of isopropyl for general cleaning purposes (and for sanitizing used covid masks). I will NEVER drink the stuff!
