I think the New York Times views anyone to the east of Manhattan as Russian.
(I'm sure some companies I worked at are now breathing a sigh of relieve for having no project management.)

They need correcting if they are calling a company Russian that is based in Czech.

Something is garbled here. Your link says NY Times, but goes to a Financial Post article that correctly says Russian hackers broke into a Czech company...
