I have the same problem on my old PC.
I can have three working monitors (HW devices), but only two screens in Windows (without the use of USB to monitor, docking...)
All three monitors can be active only in the case when two monitors display the same screen (screen duplication). It is a limitation of the graphics card HW.
The PC (motherboard) support up to 2560x1440 resolution only on DP and maximal 1920x1200 on HDMI/DVI/D-Sub.
But with the use of docking station (USB3 --> DP) I was able to connect even 4K monitor. Therefore it is clearly (in my case) a HW (motherboard) limitation.

I find that this is often a power issue. Older laptops will always have their limits, but I have got around this on many laptops and docking stations by replacing the power supply with a higher wattage one.
Money makes the world go round ... but documentation moves the money.

My Take is that Twitter is in trouble...
I believe their SEC reports have been outright lies.
The level of BOT activity has always been horrible.
To find out about half of Biden Followers were bots... And that went UNNOTICED?
They will blame someone for "not understanding", or "not being able to prove a bot account".
But my argument will be one of WILL/DESIRE. When they want to LOCK down an account... They Do.
When Jack said "We Don't Shadow Ban!", and then we get a screenshot of a control which reduces reach,
and recordings from Veritas that the employees use this all the time to punish "certain" people.
You Realize... Jack Lied, or Jack lost control of the company long ago.
Then again, NOTHING makes sense in todays world... Unless you're part of the mass formation...
