It's worrying to see that a large percentage of us do not get enough sleep, (and going by the posts!) dont take it seriously either;).
My experience is that I started programming in games when the z80 based computers were about.
Found it addictive. In an average week I'd go at least 2-3 days without sleep (when I was single) because I just had to program (couldn't help it). Now I'm married I get about 5 hours sleep per night, although I appreciate I need at least 8. Although I feel fine in the day, Im sure I'm not running on all cylinders.
Anyway, the bottom line is ... I can't help it. Not enough hours in the day.

I'd like to know what the medical downsides are (excuding tiredness of course). have had a peek around the net but doesn't seem to imply that there are any really bad downsides.

Anyone got an insite ? it can't all be good !!!!!!!Sleepy |
