First check if the normal CSS (hard-coded values) works - this is just to check the browser compatability etc.. if it comes OK there and doesnt come here... we may have to check it then

Note: Have you made the # written in the database.?? .. just asked

Hi,

I've been implementing a very simple rollover image with javascript that acts as a link (it loads a new page in a different frame). After the user clicks that image, the focus (the thin dashed line around it) stays there. How can I get rid of this thing?

Screen Revolution

How can I detect the screen revolution with ASP. I notice if I design a page on 14" monitor, The measurement is different on a bigger monitor. Is this possible so I can change the canvas of my page on the fly

Well if you are talking about "resolution" this could be helpful, I miss what you mean with "revolution"

Directly with ASP you can't check the screen width & height, but with a client script (JScript) you can use the screen object and get the width & height, and better just the avalaible width & height. You can script something like this:

If the look of your HTML on different monitor size is your problem... try using the 'SIZE' in your HTML with %... which will resize your page with the change in resolution / monitor sizes

Hi All,

I have an ms webcontrols treeview setup as an expanding menu system by using no line, no plus signs and no indent, just auto expands when selected (it works great).

Problem is I now have a fixed width menu to create and I have run into a real tough one, does anyone know how I can force the TreeNode Text to wrap to a second line when there is not enough room. I have been able to clip the text and expand to accept but not to wrap.

I understand that this would normally break the lines within the tree but in this case the visual look would not be lost.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’m about to recreate an dialog-based MFC-app to an WebApplication. Which alternatives do I have?
Figuring if making an ActiveX of it would be possible?? Is it easy to recreate in the way I thought?

Hello everybody~

I got an ASP project and now trying to write a function to check "is there one or more checkbox have been checked", the function is something like:

function gfChkCheckBox(obj)
'do something to find out how many checkboxs have been checked.
...
end function

in ASP, when I call this function, like:

the problem is, if I click this botton when the checkbox object "form.chkTest" does not exist, IE always warning me that "Object does not support this attribute or method".I've tried isnull(), isempty(),isobject() or something like that in VBScript, but cannot avoid this error. I think this error was already taken placed when the object was sent as parameter.
Someone know how to judge if this object exists so I can't avoid the error?

If you're using Flash, just export the file to an HTML and copy the HTML it creates into your ASPX page. It should be something similar to this:

Works fine in Win2K, but when I need to used in WinNT4, it didn't works. I don't receive anything. I imagine that could be the XMLDOM object, cuz Microsoft.XMLDOM is MSXML4, and the WinNT4 server could have 3 or lower version. So I tried to change the object to Msxml2.DOMDocument, but it still don't work.

Someone know why??

I don't think so, the scrollbar width is a attribute that just the user can change.

I have the following regex inside a php function which I want to basically varify whether a zip code is actually a zip code and not a zip code with any funny (possibly harmful characters)

It doesn't work...what am I missing here....

Does anyone know if it is possible to add encripted scripts to the microsoft script control? I have some vbs files encripted with microsofts script encoder that I want to use, but the AddCode method always throws errors. Is there a way to add these files or is that control unable to decode the encription?

Hi there,

I'm creating a document on the fly with the document.open() and document.close() methods. But before I display this page, I'd like to load an image into the cache with var i = new Image();. My question is, how can I make the code wait for the image to be loaded completely, before continuing with the next line?

As far as I know, you cannot do that. All you can do is to make an init function that loads the images that is triggered on the ONLOAD event of the BODY. Then do everything else after that function has been executed...
