hey

Does anyone know how to write the application database name to the windows system registry?

Im working in asp.net with sql server 2008 and need to have the database name written/recorded to the system registry so that when the registry editor is opened, our database name is present.

Im working with windows7.

Thanks in advance

Why do need to store it in the registry? Configuration files such as web.config are the preferred method.

Yeah i realise there are easier methods but im busy with a project and interfacing with the windows registry is part of the complexity marks i need to obtain. Do you know of any way to do this? Thanks :)

"...part of the complexity marks I need to obtain." ??? You are rewarded for how complex your code or application is ???
