i become the following message when i try to update it: "This database can not be imported. It is either an unsupported SQL Server version or an unsupported database compatibility".

Just occurred to me, are you in any way attaching the file in your code? If so, is the datafile still at the location where connection string mentions it to be?

Ooooohhh!! thanks! i remember that yesterday i change the connectionstring. i replace the old connectionstring and only the ADD Button is well (With ADD button i write a new line in my database) but the extraction of information to another controls make error:"An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\\Users\\...\\datatablename.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share."
that means the first problem was not good resolve? how can i handle it? please help
