How to develop multilingual website in asp.net?

i need to create a multilingual website in asp.net, i know adding resource file would work , but my question is suppose i want to display my website in french language so is it like i need to add translation for each text in resource file or is it possible asp.net will automatically translate the content to french

What I have tried:

I have added a resource file , made a resource entry Greet and referred greet in application, do i need to do same for all contents
