hi I need your help as I will be designing a full function website to my alma mater my secondary school as a way of apreciating their efforts in my life

What I have tried:

I have the knowledge of dreamweaver CS3 I just needed hints and insights on it for the website to be a full working and a professional one

So you have knowledge of Dreamweaver? And in designing a professional web site that means almost nothing. You need knowledge of design standards, HTML, JavaScript, graphics, etc. So tip is to work on your basic skills and then expand those. Once you have learned the basic then you can start working towards goals like a professional web site for university.

Dreamwaver is a complex tools, so it isnt a thing of working some steps and get ready.

Try searching some tutorials in the internet. I often found very fine tuts on youtube. Some are great but some are crappy. The best sign is, that they got a big number of thumbs up.

I would try this tutorial, because it has some parts.
