Hi everyone,

I am working on computer vision algorithm design/development. To reduce the gap between algorithm development and deployment, I am currently looking for a deployable image processing IDE/library, in which the algorithm prototyping/development can be directly deployed to a customer's computer.

I wonder if anybody has used MVTec's Halcon or Matrox's MIL. If so, could you please provide some comments on the following aspects? Thanks a lot.

1. Library coverage. In other words, the scrope of functionalities that the tool provides.
2. Computational efficiency. Would the deployment suit for real-time applications?
3. Is the tool easy to use and to integrate with other software? Can I directly pass data between the library and C++/JAVA?
4. Is the tool easy to learn or start.

Thank you. Any inputs will be very much appreciated.

Did you notice the date? :)

I assume a spam answer dragged this back into the "active" list, and was then deleted.
