I have prepared ps & than pdf through distilliser from Indesign. the pdf shows proper rupee symbol but when i shared the same pdf. the rupee symbol does not appear.

What language? What Encoding? which tools, what is your source code, if you have.

Make sure that the font containing the Rupee symbol is included in the PDF file.

It seems that on the other system there is no font with rupee symbol...You can solve this by embedding the font into your PDF...
You should also check the permissions on the font file as not all fonts can be embedded. In this case you have to look for an other font with rupee sign and use it...
