Help with Microsoft outlook

So I am trying to automate a job I have at work and I am baffled! I receive a lot of emails in outlook of which I must manually sort through, copy specific parts in the body of the email and then forward them to another party. I have tried using the "rules" function in Microsoft outlook but it seems limited - any advice would be really appreciated!
