I have been trying to develop an google chrome extension that blocks unwanted iframes and ads,and I would like to add something like an personal blacklist so that users can add websites to the blacklist via the extension. Please share if any such codes are available in Javascript.

What I have tried:

find the code for adding an personal blacklist to a chrome extension.

Your mistake is that you confound what you need with its usage.
You want a list of strings that can be saved, reloaded and changed by user.
Your usage do not matter. Once the list is loaded, you use it as a black list.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to create a blacklist based on the feedback given by the user and store them in their local storage but didn't succeed. Do you have any source code that works like"to block sites that contains certain keywords".I am thinking to change it in such a way as you said.
