Asp.net master page as layoyt in MVC

Is it possible to set a layout for razor cshtml with existing asp.net master page?

Our project converting from WSP to MVC and we need to use existing master page that we have until we not convert(rewrite code for mvc) whole project .

What I have tried:

I am still searching in internet to get any working example.

Solution 1

You're just going to have to rewrite your site, the two are not compatible. If you don't want to re-write then stick with webforms. To answer your next question, no you can't convert it to MVC a page at a time either.
