In visual studio 2005, tool box is opening in a separate window
how to place that as a hidden tab.

all controls in standard tab are disabled. how to enable those controls

any one plz help me.

In visual studio 2005, tool box is opening in a separate window. how to place that as a hidden tab.
Drag it to any side of VS and it will get embedded into VS instead of a separate frame. After this, there will be a pin kind of option at the top of toolbox that will collapse it.

all controls in standard tab are disabled. how to enable those controls
Once you open any designer (C# form in winforms app Or ASPX, ASCX kinda page in web application), standard tab will be automatically enabled with all the controls. Currently, you cannot use it without any form - thus they are disabled.

When you start dragging the toolbox, you will see four arrows appear, one on each side of the screen. Drag it to one of these arrows and the toolbox will be docked. You can then autohide using a button on the top right
