I have windows 7 32bit and visual studio 2010 ultimate installed on my pc without service pack. but when i want to install asp.net mvc4 on pc, it requires visual studio 2010 service pack 1 . so how cn i install mvc4 so that my visual studio version support it and make me usable mvc4 features.

What I have tried:

I tried installing asp.net mvc4 but it does not support in vs10

Install the service pack 1 for VS 2010.
Assuming your copy of VS Ultimate is legitimate, it's just an update to your software.

Then follow this link: Download ASP.NET MVC 4 for Visual Studio 2010 SP1 and Visual Web Developer 2010 SP1 from Official Microsoft Download Center[^]

Yes, my software copy is licensed and do i need to remove old version and then update new or just update and install.

It's a service pack - it expects the unpatched version to be present.
