Wii program by brian peek in C# using 2008 sp1

I have been playing around with the Wii program and after I made a change I could not connect anymore. I installed the orignal program with no changes and it will not connect anymore either. What I have found out is If I install a prgoram from BlueSoleil it will connect just fine and work OK through the file system, but when I remove the BlueSoleil program and try and use windows 7 driver it will not connect using the altmethod in the program which uses the HID.DLL and the setupapi.dll. When the program attempts a read I get an exception error. This all worked OK for several weeks then just quit. Could I have a corrupted HID.DLL or setupapi.dll? Anybody have any idea? HELP

Hopefully someone here will give you an answer, but fewer people have used the library then on BP's own blog, and no-one will understand it better than the Author anyway.
