Working with images in android

Is it possible in android that whenever i click my list-view item then the corresponding images at that index should display in image-view i am trying it but could not i have the images in my draw-able folder but can't make this work. i am using android studio .tell me if someone knows

What I have tried:

i tried by File library but i cannot solve the problem
