Hey guys, I was wondering where I could learn java for free. Also what IDE should I use?

What I have tried:

I haven't tried anything yet just looking for suggestions.

Google is your friend: Be nice and visit him often. He can answer questions a lot more quickly than posting them here...
In future, please try to do at least basic research yourself, and not waste your time or ours.

At home, reading a free book (though dated, Bruce Eckel's book[^] provides a good introduction) or a tutorial. Making practice.
