Hi,

First post here, have just decided to learn how to code and am taking an online course on Udemy.com..
I am an absolute beginner, have no idea what I'm doing but I'm taking the plunge

Before I post the actual problem, It would be way easier if I could send a screenshot of the problem rather than try to type it out and explain it.

Is that possible on this forum??

What I have tried:

Messaging the tutor, but she hasn't responded yet.

No.
We don't allow images because there are too many people who would misuse it - and if you think you need an image to explain it, you are probably wrong!

Copy and paste code, copy and paste error messages. That way, we can use them directly without having to re-type anything, with the always-present problem of us not typing it exactly as you did!

And also, when you try to explain what the problem is to someone, it often makes you think about "exactly what is the problem?" and that leads to a solution you find yourself.

Give it a try: you may fix it yourself while trying to tell us what the problem is! (And that is a very good feeling indeed)

Take a look at JavaScript Tutorial[^] where you can actually test your code.
