hello

I have a website and hosted on IIS by using add web site and in side the webside i have created a virtual directory.

It is working if i will provide the host name as some name like "digmans"

It is not working if i will provide the host name as some name like "digmans.uuu.in"

And "digmans.uuu.in" host name is working for a static or without session or cookies page and not working for any database connection page.

If any solution please response.

What I have tried:

Tired by taking different different host name.

"Not working" is not enough information for anyone to help you. You need to provide a precise description of the problem, including the full details of any errors.

if you want to use domain name type names when hosting locally, you must add them to your hosts file in windows as they will otherwise get routed by your dns server on duty to where that domain actually is.

it has already mapped in hosts file. But still not working.

the name resolving takes the hosts file first, then the local DNS, if you control that you can also point it to your machine. Appears it does work as you write about the routing but not if you want to use session og cookies. Those factors don't have any effect of the DNS system so it's really strange. I suggest if the routing is not your problem (but statefull sites) you should update the question with more details of the actual solution
