I was trying to deploy my MVC web app to another computer that has no Visual Studio installed, so I was following this. On number 6 it says "In the center pane, under Management, double-click Management Service", but I couldnt find the Management Service icon. I tried searching it via Web Platform but there is no Management Service in the search. Can I skip this or do I really have to install the Management Service? I also tried installing this Internet Information Services MP but still the management service icon is nowhere to be found. How can I install this management service if it is required for me to be able to install my app to the server.

What I have tried:

I tried installing the IIS and checked the Management Service checkbox but when I ran the IIS manager, the Management Service icon is missing. I was trying to deploy my mvc app remotely to the server which doesnt have Visual Studio installed.

Are you sure you did not miss point 11 (In the IIS: Management Service row, click Add.) on the Install procedure?

actually i was looking for it too. I've researched a lot and I found out that that management service icon is only available in windows server, while i was just using win 7.
