ASP.NET Application – Speech Recognition Functionality

HI,

We are working on an ASP.NET web application which requires the functionality to recognize user’s voice from client side. Is it possible to record this voice and compare it with a predefined text which is in the database at server end, in any technology like flash / silver light / asp.net etc.? If so would you please provide the details and reference URLs.
