creating mp3 files

I know the structure of the headers and data content of a mp3 file.

Can any one tell me how can I create the frames for a mp3 file out of raw data samples ??

Does Simply writing the values back to the hard disk will do. by use of the file stream object Or does we require some type of compression algorithm??

Please help me.

Solution 1

From "MP3"[^] topic at Wikipedia:

MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 Audio Layer 3 (or III),[4] more commonly referred to as MP3, is a patented digital audio encoding format using a form of lossy data compression.

So it requires the compression algo. Possibly you should search for a library.
