How to compile doom source code "source port"

Hey can somebody give me a tutorial in text to build my own source port for doom PC version... what I need to success

Please I need to know I have tried everything and know luck its my dream to make one please help me out...

What I have tried:

I have tried to compile but now luck I have also tried dosdoom source port code and cant even compile it...

What source code are you using? Mostly, they will share the information on doing so. In the same way, they will share the requirements to build, and run the project.

So, please consult the documentations.

As it can be read in the famous README.TXT of this github upload: "The bad news: this code only compiles and runs on linux.". So you need some Linux and gcc and than run the makefile. digg trough the Getting Started section of the GCC for learning gcc or search some tutorials.

Contact the author of this github project for details if problems occur, but first learn the usage of the gcc tool chain.
