When I try to opening a excel file there will be a error the file is corrupted

Hi,
when i generate a excel file using CarlosAg.ExcelXmlWriter tool. After generating the file without error in asp.net.

Then I try open the excel file the Microsoft Excel popup error like

The file format and extension of report.xls don't match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trust its source,don't open it. Do you want to open it anyway?

I don't know what to do.Please help me to solve this

What I have tried:

Talk to the people who created it: CarlosAg Excel Xml Writer Library[^] - they should provide technical support and will know more about their product than we will. If they don't, then find another XLS / XLSX file writer - there are enough of them about that there is no point in sticking with a unsupported library!
