How do I learn fingerprint information

hi everyone,
i want make android attendance program and i want to add finger authentication. The phone will has the member's fingerprint so when phone read the member's fingerprint i need know which member's fingerprint is this. how can i read fingerprint information in android? is there any basic fingerprint api?

What I have tried:

i have found some apis but i couldn't understand.
