By upload you are indicating that you want to export it from Excel, rather than import it to a database.
If that is the case then doing it in VBA would be easier as that is integral to Excel.
Also you haven't stated what database.
If Access then it is a piece of piss, otherwise are you using MySql? SQL Server, Anything?

Neither of the links you gave have any reference to Excel. The OP specifically stated that they were dealing with Excel files.
