1) User enrolls his/her fingerprint on a web application using a fingerprint scanner (Futronic FS88).
2) The enrolled fingerprint will be stored in a database.
3) When the same user wants to authenticate, his/her fingerprint will be compared to the one in the database to decide whether he/she is who they claim to be.

Can I ask if I can make use of the Windows Biometric Framework to develop the above mentioned web application? Thanks in advance.

I have currently read the documentation for the FS88 scanner.

It is possible if your scanner is WBF supported. Please check with your vendor or product specification about this.
