I'd like to make an application in VB.Net that would communicate to specific equipment that uses SECS/Gem. Do you have an idea or easy way to do that. Sample code will do. Thanks in advance...

What I have tried:

Haven't tried yet. No idea bout how to use SECS/Gem in machine interfacing.

Google is your friend: Be nice and visit him often. He can answer questions a lot more quickly than posting them here...

A very quick search gave 32,000 hits: SECS/Gem VB - Google Search[^]
A better search gave 14,000 hots: SECS/Gem c - Google Search[^] - it's C# based, but it lists drivers, APIs, and so forth (and anything which works for C# can be used by VB)

In future, please try to do at least basic research yourself, and not waste your time or ours.

Been searching that in google for a long time before I posted here. Couldn't find any related samples for beginners, even If I found one in thousands search, it's too complex to understand. What I want is a step by step tutorial (basic steps) in vb.net programming with secs/gem. Some related topics bout secs/gem are deleted as well.

You aren't going to find a "beginners VB guide" to programming SECS/Gem - it's complex, and needs work. You will find API's which will take the "grunt work" out - but using them is almost certainly going to require that you already know what SECS/Gem involves so you have a good idea how it all fits together.

What you are asking for is a "Drivers Ed tutorial" to winning a F1 race!
