Is there any sophisticated open source software

I am trying to achieve the following,

create a viewport in a rectangle of ellipse shape, both are scalable by toggles - both can be moved anywhere on the canvas.

be able to import an image by clicking inside the view port.

pan and scroll the image, scale and click out of there.

any help with some existing software or any one can build or help build would be great.

Hi Richard, Thank you very much for sending me this information, hopefully someone will be able to make it work in our App.

BTW, I see you are retired by your words, ever thought about coming out of retirement for a incredibly unique project, where the App would possibly see yourself using, especially given all the achievements you have under your belt.

Hmm, I bet you have, thanks for the reply, I will keep searching, sounds like a real McCoy Viewport is only mastered by Autocad

Hi Richard, we are using LibreOffice open source, my developer says it is not compatible - so we hit another wall.
