How can I upload APK files on my wordpress blog

Hello everyone, I am not a coder, and do not know much about it. I want to upload .APK files on my wordpress blog, but it shows some errors. But, my other friends are uploading it via some plugins. Please help me in this regard, how can I upload the apk files on my website.

I have tried php.function file, what I found from different blogs, but still not getting the job done

What are the errors that you are getting? What is in your functions.php file?
Generally the errors you are going to get are going to be relating to MIME Typing.
