Hi all,

I am an experienced programmer (20 yrs) in test and measurement (LabVIEW, data-acquisition, vision and robotics). Also good knowledge of SQL and PLC-programming in visual studio.

Not being able to do any web-projects has been a frustration for a long time, and I would like to learn. Specifically, I'd like to use asp.net (MVC) for projects where I can build the back-end and the front-end.

However currently I have zero knowledge of html, css, jquery,...

Could you advise me in the order of steps to study?

Of course I'd like to dive into asp.net immediatly, but something tells me that I need to study html,css,... first.

Is there somewhere a 'all covering' course or do I study them independantly?

Thanks for all your advise!
Thomas.

What I have tried:

looking for a good online course.

Just go to www.asp.net[^] and start learning. There are also some more basic introductions at W3Schools Online Web Tutorials[^]
