Come to the same position on going back with infinite scrolling in sharepoint page

In my sharepoint some of the pages are almost filled up and when user scroll to the middle and open a document in different page when they press back button and return to the page after closing the document I want the page to the same y coordinate page location they were on previously when they click the back button on the browser – i.e. return to same vertical location on the page.
so if they were half way down they return to half way down and not the top of the page,
can able to achive this by adding jquery on to the page snippet? as I just want to add this code to only page in my sharepoint site
