Please tell me how I can make a project online work when Client is using dsl connection and server is also using dsl?

When we create a connection with sql server we use server=name; so what will be used and is there any ip used so what ip use and if there is any other thing use so what that will be?

Is there any file will be make which make connection as bat format file or any other thing is there so please tell me details with source codes please.
