Sharedpreferences not working in an activity

I'm trying to get SharedPreferences in an activity and set the value as title of action bar, but i can't get the value on the main_activity , but i can get the value in another one , i do't know why and how . this is my code to save SharedPreferences:

public static final String Colloge_section="MyPrefsFile";
SharedPreferences.Editor 
editor=getSharedPreferences(Colloge_section,MODE_PRIVATE).edit();
        editor.putString("title_of_activity","student");
        editor.apply();

and this is how I get the SharedPreferences :

SharedPreferences prfs = getSharedPreferences("MyPrefsFile", Context.MODE_PRIVATE);
    String Astatus = prfs.getString("title_of_activity", "");

    getSupportActionBar().setTitle(Astatus);

What I have tried:

create new activity and edit SharedPreferences by adding editor.clear();
